I am currently pursuing an associates in general CIS. I have an associates in accounting. I have the opportunity to take classes at COCC free of tuition and I decided this would be a good time to learn something new that I could in the future apply to my work experience. I have lived in Central oregon for almost 25 years. I moved here like many others for all the outdoor activity options. I enjoy hiking, used to do road biking. I grew up in an area of Easter Oregon that is pretty flat, so I definetly preferr being so close to the mountains.
I was born in the late 80's and I got to experience all the changing in technolonly that has happend from the late 80's to now. I rememeber the beginings of the internet and the sounds of a dial up modem conecting through a phone line. This makes it all that more exciting to learn the inner workings of computers and how they interact. I did not have any experience with web development or any sort of coding untill the last year taking classes. I am soo excited to learn these skills and have seen first hand how valuable possesing knowledge like what I am learning is in a work enviroment where computers are an essential tool.
